Work with RSS Feeds

Keep track of recurring publications without leaving Increader

Updated March 14, 2026

Many blogs and magazines offer an RSS feed to make it easier to follow all of their publications. Increader can work directly with RSS feeds so you don’t have to keep checking email newsletters for new publications.

RSS feeds are best when you want Increader to keep pulling from sources you already trust.

Note: This feature is only available for users on the Pro plan of Increader.

Add a feed

  1. Open RSS Feeds in the sidebar.
  2. Paste the feed URL.
  3. Click Subscribe.

After subscribing to a feed, Increader will fetch the 10 newest feed entries for you. Afterwards, new feed entries will be pulled once an hour.

Importing feed entries into your library

Subscribing to a feed will not automatically import all entries into your library. To import a feed entry into your library, simply press the big import button. This will add the entry to your bookmark library and automatically add it to your reading queue. If you want to see whether a feed entry is worth your time before importing it, you can press Read entry to show a preview.

After importing an entry, you may remove it from your feed by pressing the little arrow button and selecting Dismiss entry. This isn’t required, but if you like to keep your feed tidy, then this feature may be for you. If new feed entries are available, Increader will display a badge with the number of unseen entries in the sidebar so you don’t have to check the RSS tab manually.

Tips

  • You can turn every Substack blog into an RSS feed by adding /feed to the end of it. For example, to get all posts from https://www.astralcodexten.com, simply subscribe to https://www.astralcodexten.com/feed
