Increader is built around one simple loop: import something worth reading, let the queue bring it back to you, and leave notes as you go.
All you need to start out with this is an Increader account and something to read. If you don’t have an account yet, you can either sign up for a free account, or you can even try without setting up an account by using a one-click demo account.
Start with one import
For a first run, importing a web article is usually the fastest path:
- Open Create Bookmark from the sidebar.
- Paste a public article URL.
- Confirm the title.
- Leave Add to Queue enabled.
- Create the bookmark.
If you would rather start with a file, use the dedicated guides for PDFs or EPUBs in the Importing Content section.
Run your first session
Once your first item is queued:
- Press Continue Reading.
- Read until your attention drops or you reach a natural stopping point.
- Highlight one or two useful passages.
- Add a short note if a highlight needs context.
- Leave the session. Increader will save your place automatically.
What to do next
- Read Core Concepts to understand how the reading queue, note reviews, and spaced repetition fit together.
- Read Use the Reader for the reading view itself, including layout controls and reading modes.
- Open Import Articles from the Web if you want a slower step-by-step walkthrough.
- Move to Create Highlights and Notes when you are ready to annotate actively.
